BWAC offers its members the finest selection of freshwater angling in the region, catering for all aspects of the sport. We are an active club with monthly meetings, regular matches, a flourishing junior section and licensed coaches. Trips to away venues are held and we have exchange tickets with other clubs. We are members of ; The Anglers Conservation Association The Northumberland Wild Life Trust The River The Angling Trust
Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month, starting at 8.00pm, at the Newcastle Companions Club on Leazes Park Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, unless there is an NUFC home match.
BWAC is also affiliated to the Tyne Anglers Alliance. The T.A.A brings together angling clubs from across the region to share support and advice and to give a unified voice for coarse angling in the North East. Our affiliation to the TAA also allows our members to fish TAA waters. Please check out their website and rules before fishing any of the four venues here.
